WEL-Life at Ogallala, Nebraska, and Lantis Enterprises announce new facility director at WEL-Life at Ogallala. Mary Ann (Milner) Madden has joined the WEL-Life at Ogallala team as Program Director.

Mary Ann will be responsible for the continuous care analysis and performance measurements with particular emphasis on customer satisfaction.  With years of management experience, Mary Ann is more than capable of taking on the leadership role at WEL-Life at Ogallala.

Mary Ann is a farm girl from the Imperial area that received her nursing degree from Mid Plains Community College and then her Bachelors Degree in Health Care Administration from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska.  Mary Ann has had a wealth of experience in the medical field working in; geriatric nursing for 17 years and 5 years working for Community Hospital in McCook, Nebraska.  She received her Administration license in 2007 and has recently transferred from a Lantis facility in Scottsbluff, Nebraska.

On a personal note, Mary Ann enjoys spending family time with her husband, Pat, of 26 years. They have 3 children; daughter, Elisha, who lives in Monticello, Iowa, son, Owen, who lives in Palisade, Nebraska, and son, Chris, who is still at home and will be transferring to Ogallala High school.

When asked about her new position Mary Ann stated, “WEL-Life at Ogallala is like coming home for me.  It is so nice to be back in the area and to be able to share familiar things with people.  I like taking care of the elderly, and being able to share their life with them and their family brings great joy to me.  I look forward to working together with the community so we can grow, diversify and be recognized as the best in all we do with a western hospitality with a smile.”

Vice President of Operations of Assisted Living Facilities, Larry Klarenbeek, said, “Mary Ann has a passion and compassion for people. She enjoys working with staff and residents. She exhibits good communication skills along with an ability to work well with many different personalities. We consider Mary Ann a compassionate leader who uses a participatory management style. She strives to be fun-loving and outgoing. We are excited to have her relocate to Ogallala from our WEL-Life at Scottsbluff facility.”
